In conversation, I prefer Christopher. My mom named me after Christopher Robin, after all. In writing, I use “C L Couch” (or, more simply, “c l couch”) because the form is genderless and also frankly easier to use. I have awful writer’s cramp. I am an educator more or less retired, more or less due to disability. At present, I live in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania (USA). My writing here I mean to be occasional and also devotional. Either or both. The banner and profile photographs are by my friend and peer Debra Danielson. More of Debbie’s work to be enjoyed is at debradanielson.org. Thanks to each of you and both and all for coming to my blog.

we can only hope. What scares me is the number of supporters he has…I’ve met those people and as Pogo used to say “we have met the enemy and he is US.”

Thanks. I know we don’t always elect the brightest and the best. But, come on.

Haha. It was a good Limerick. I think politics in America (sometimes Canada too) seems to be a learning curve. For instance, you elect George Bush Jr. And then elect Obama. Obama was a good choice, and George not so much. But it is one of the most difficult jobs in the world.

I do mind his hair, it’s animal cruelty! As for what’s under his “hair” well..I mind that too. Very witty and clever, kudos to you!

Thanks. I hadn’t been thinking at the time about my stand on animal cruelty. Which, of course, I’m totally against. You’re right–another thing to mind.
