Love of Pi
pi it is
point
beyond
safe, solvable numbers in
equations
this would go on, transcendence
merging grammar and calculation, design of bridges, and love-
songs ellipses
all our science and art that
we can rely on become
something like God
random in beauty without end

Thank you for the mention, my dear friend, and I’m glad you put this brilliant piece up in your blog, where it belongs 🙂

I did not realize pingbacks happen kind of automatically. I was ready simply to let you know the poem was here. Still so much to learn. Thanks for inspiring!

I find that if you link it to a specific post, pingback will be created. If you link it to a homepage, e.g. Just http://www.whatthewomanwrote.wordpress.com, there will be no pingback. 🙂 I think that’s what happens, but I could be wrong. You’re welcome, Christopher, glad you could take away something out of my work 🙂

Oh wow!!! This is just gorgeous! I hate math but I love how you created a poem based on pi! 😀

I laughed when I read your response, since hate and love are so near each other. And if I can take math that you hate and render it more palatable in a poem, then I’ve done something. Thanks!

Such a clever way of using math 🙂

Thank you! Maybe it’s palatable for those who don’t like math.

Maybe. But I do 🙂
