Observatory
To the north
And maybe through
An ozone layer
They peer into
Convex-concave
Holes to note
In quiet, confident
Accented tones
Of practice
And of speech
Jupiter disappears
Then returns
Again to view
And while
Watching another
Galaxy, discoveries
Follow with small
Gasps
This is an age
Of receiving
Messages of
Broadcasts,
Messages of
Design—they
Transmit, and
Now we can look
And glimpse
Moments of
Creation
Circles
On a page

Owns the book

Thank you! I re-worked it some, though the draft-part was written with spontaneity.

Juno did arrive this week, didn’t it? The coverage of that is probably what got me to writing this. Thank you for your response–it’s energizing!

Yes it did 🙂 I cannot imagine the joy the ‘senders’ must have felt. I like when we keep observing and ‘discovering’ space. It brings use to the closer recognition that God has created us, humans, as a unique creation.

I’m delighted you feel the beat in this. An emphatic aspect of rhythm was coming through while I was drafting. And you caught it. Such a smart sister! (Well, I’m not surprised.)
