Likha
To create creating—
God makes likha first
And then the rest
We fight that truth,
Thinking creation’s
In our hands
We can co-make, even
Co-design—but we
Cannot sidestep,
Much less eschew or
Abrogate, this first
Person manifest

Yes, an intelligent designer. Indeed, I think that is the beginning and many people get stuck there. Even if it was by “Big Bang” or other method. Even if the seven-days The intelligent designer created the world and cosmos in were longer time than we can comprehend, there is always a going back to that designer and all his intricacies in his creations. How can any of that be by accident? Great poem Christopher. Very wise 🙂

I’m happy and encouraged by your seeing wisdom here. When I thought of intelligence and skill, I couldn’t help but think of God. Who created, well, creating. I tend to think there’s reason in the Genesis account and the scientific approach. But, yes, we should consider what or who is there to realize these. Carl Sagan saw the universe as a magnificent, random act. I like his work, though can’t agree on that point. There are too many patterns not to indicate a patterner. Thanks, Mandi.

Yes! I would attest what Mandi said. This is one wise piece! Whatever belief we hold, there is always that GREAT force who made us all. Humans have the ability to create another human, but before that, a greater being createsd the first human first. No one can deny that. If yes, we are “evolved” apes, then someone has to made that first ape first, right?
Great, brother!!!

Thank you, sister! And that’s right! Whatever we might think we can achieve–and I suppose we can achieve much–there’s always something, someone, suffuse through all. And over and under. Before and after. This should be assurance and encouragement. People are relational. So is God. So is God’s intent with us. Sounds pretty good to me!
