Hospitalism
My sister tells me it’s a man thing
Not wanting to go to the
Hospital
It’s certainly true that I do not want to go
And that I thought this
A healthy inclination
Now I wonder if for those women who
Care so much
(In quantity and quality) if there is a
Kind of comfort there
Someone else to provide, to
Decide,
To break the news
And deal with it first

My experiences with the hospital are usually that no one, including myself when I have had to go, wants to go to the hospital. Most of us hate them. But many times when we go there we experience necessary treatment and can have any testing etc. That needs doing all at once. After a bit, while at first we hated it, we start to only dislike it as we see that we really did need help and to be at the hospital. And then, if things go well we reach a point where we are healthy enough to go home and that’s a change too, not having others to decide as you say, but having to again decide for yourself.
I hope you are doing okay Christopher and that if you end up at the hospital they can better help you and do the testing and/or treatment you need. I will be praying for you. I so want you to be healthy and able to enjoy life as you did before again.
I’m behind on your posts, but I am always happy to see you have written. Stay well my friend and take all the time you need to heal.
