then whose Earth and who decides

cold or hot
the future is
uncertain
well
of course
it is
there might be winter forever
after cloud cover ironically
from heat should shield
us
tragically
from the sun
or we could heat
so fast
a melting Earth
with
torching skies might be
all
there is
it’s the unnatural future
of concern
we cannot escape or
even
evade
not really
it’s the planet
after all
the one we have affected
are
changing now
the profiteers believing there is more
to eke out while
the Earth
is
held together
more
and much more
and
a little more
before things crack for good
and then
things crack for good
2
leave the Earth go
a billion years
or so
leaving time to build
allowing time
to heal
the Earth will crack eventually
on its own
in
relation to a dying sun
all that we’re doing
so adversely
here
happen
naturally and by then we will
be ready
we’ll be somewhere else
by
then
happy to be there
too
as we can imagine if we cooperate
with the planet
now
rather than take
a few make money
leaving the consequences to
the children
unmindlessly
a consciousness to let the world
die
here and now
with
the suddenness of
a generation against Earth’s
own ages
our children
or
maybe their own
maybe
left with hard gold
to chew

This Day God
God
What do you think
I should say today
If anything
To share
For
We know that you are love
But we aren’t love
And you won’t fix us
Obviously
And we could follow you
By serving each other
Though
The world would only hurt us
Take from us
And should we all be ready
To lose that much
And
Maybe so
Yet
Sigh
I am weak
And unconnected
So what could I do to make
Things better
But
Maybe
On occasion to remind us that
You are
In truth love
And
Direct of us to be and
Do the same

Left Behind Over
x
I used to wonder
How I got it
Wrong
How I was tricked
By devilish
Personae
And didn’t get to go
Above
Beyond
Wherever all the heavenly
Got to go
x
I am on Earth
When it’s called tribulation
To be here
And to be here
I have to have my forehead
Marked
Be ready to pay
Bars of gold
For bread
And who knows
If any water
Anything is safe
While nothing is
x
I wish it hadn’t come to this
x
A savior
Styled by self
And people
Rises
A liar
Who looks
Oh
So
Well
In public
Yet drains us for itself
Ready to execute
The life from those
Returning
To the faith
x
And me
Should I feel the blade
Of death on Earth
For heaven
x
A heavenly force
Arrives
And all again is overthrown
This time for victory
Of belief
And real power
Manifest like matter
From creation
x
It has hurt
It has been trying
Life
And death for faith was awful
Now it’s done
x
And is it a dream
For sirens of
Earthly missiles
And a moment
To decide
x
So
Decide

Hospitalism
My sister tells me it’s a man thing
Not wanting to go to the
Hospital
It’s certainly true that I do not want to go
And that I thought this
A healthy inclination
Now I wonder if for those women who
Care so much
(In quantity and quality) if there is a
Kind of comfort there
Someone else to provide, to
Decide,
To break the news
And deal with it first

Look me in the eye

How might
It undulate
Do you wave in
Love or fright
Attributes that
Can be shared, you
Know:
Each evokes
A shaking of
Soul-senses
Overcome one
To have the
Other—you decide
Then with one
Intent, look the
Other in the eye
