haiku for the time
fall sighs to winter
glory first then fade away
we know barren trees
mystery in blue
under the colors falling
Earth prepares to sleep
it’s hard not retired
when the leaves are fallen then
winter-dull the sky
before the cold rest
there’s Hallowe’en to fright us
sleep then like a spell
c l couch
