quotidian matters
or this war's morning's in Iran

the normal
stuff
the everyday
in
ablutions
fancy word and such
for
bathroom time and then
to dress
because a day is waiting
with stress
and opportunity
so who
leaps out
of bed
anyway
ready
unwashed to joy the day
if
okay
I want
to
jump up to the morning
or the evening
if
third shift
to talk to waking hours
and
God behind the time
or
whatever preposition to apply
but then
to wash for decency
for
civilized acceptance
unless
conscious to exigence
with
immediate contention and
there’s
no clear water
anyway
