a trip through what we do not know

a trip through what we do not know

and I don’t know
I know
there’s God
though the invisibility is frustrating
sometimes felt
or
rather not felt in fear
because
along with not seeing there is
not hearing
and all of presence for faith
seems distant

on a plane I cannot dwell
maybe
visit in a dream

and I hear God is creative
and creates
and maybe maintains
somehow
while most of us don’t have a care for
keeping something
but
plan to replace when something’s off to us
a thing
a person
a belief

so much disposable
yet
I think you know the atoms
into molecules
in each cell of us
and
not only know but also
care

for I believe the word is true that it was
love
the main motivation for
making us
allowing us to break ourselves
to give in
to deceit which by the story
is few words
and actions

and still and now wants us
to be whole as in
restored
and so by love
practical
and spiritual
you send yourself so close that we might be
reconciled
somehow
vaporous
soul with muscles
organs
and skin
the things we know
come together fully with each other
God
and us
and it seems one by one
though
group conversion’s fine
except for that maintaining instinct
that we do not
have

but you have
dear God
and
care for glory that the raiment of Solomon exudes
and for ourselves
threads of glory
being reinvested or even remade
by you
