do I have to say for me
to you
or not for one or the either of us
depending on
selections
of
the muse
who rises and allows

I hope this is or has been
depending on zone
lines
a fine day for you
special
maybe beyond special for simply having been
the gift of another day

that the hours passed
well
for you
pleasant and however subcutaneous
some
satisfaction in it

rest you believe is deserved
or
you know
don’t think about it
simply and
may I wish a long and steady time
and
then ascend into tomorrow
its challenges
and
pleasures

possible and for you
to have both in healthy
measure
even
if the world isn’t careful in its
offerings that may
arrive
as
its demands

well
