Something
If I don’t do something
I shall do nothing,
So I try
To do this much
What is this much?
Not my writing it
But your reading it
And our responding through;
Anything that might come
During or after
Means I am doing something
(For) we are doing something

I can relate. I don’t like that feeling when you can’t do something but you want to very badly. Nice poem.

Thanks so much for all the sharing. Yeah, when I can manage simplicity, I think I’ve done something right.

Yes. Loved the pun! And the meaning of this poem. I am doing something, and that’s to give you credit for such a wonderful poem. 🙂

Yes, you are doing something. Something clever enough to make me laugh in appreciation. And feel grateful for your close and considerate response. We can do something, can’t we? You show me that.

Haha! Yes, we surely can! 😀
