I should add a note, not that I like whining. But I’ve been suffering with extra headaches the last few days. I manage to write and post but not much more. I like to read and respond to your works and am sorry I’ve been really slowed in that. I don’t know if the pain is from the change in seasons, rise in heat, rise in allergens, or something else.
Anyway, I keep plodding. Hope you all are well (better).

Sorry to hear you’re having headaches. They are no fun in hot weather at all. I hope you feel better soon . Have you tried cold compresses? I read that heat expands blood vessels in the head and cold water restricts them.

Thank you. It’s a few days later, and the headaches are in an on-again off-again phase. A phase I hope keeps improving. I’ve tried cold compresses before, and they’re helped. I’ve not thought of them recently. I appreciate your mentioning them!

Goodness, a Hebrew wish for healing! I’m honored. And the headaches, now a few days later, are better (meaning they’re not as constant or as frequent). Thank you!

I’m so sorry about your headaches, Christopher. Isn’t enough that we have to worry about a pandemic and are locked inside (behind our doors or behind masks); it’s too much to be saddled with illness too. I hope you find some relief soon. Do you suffer often from headaches or is this unusual? Please, be well.

Thank for your thoughtful response, Cathy. The constant headaches, which would make them one headache, I guess, are broken up some (so more than one, now). For a while, I had it at the start of day, throughout the day, and at the end of day. Waking up with the headache was certainly a let-down. I do have chronic headache that I’m more used to (relatively speaking). Evidently, it’s from allergies. I was taking shots until heart disease interfered. I am still here and thankful for that. Thankful for your friendship, too.

It is hard to get through a day when you have a constant headache, Christopher, so my heart goes out to you. I went through a year-long period in 1988-1989 when I had the same thing, and it was utterly miserable. I’m glad yours are breaking up somewhat to give you some periods of relief. Waking up feeling sick, with headaches or anything, definitely puts a damper on the day. I hope you feel better soon, Christopher, and find healing and joy. xx
