A gray day
For triumph
The sun avoids our eyes
We don’t look up,
Anyway
We’re not supposed to
x
Who made such a world
On which we may not look at
The source of life?
But we can’t
And shouldn’t
x
Look down
Look off
And on certain days of war,
The sun won’t look upon us
Either
x
We’ll need Hur to hold us up
This time
On our own

I love the phrasing of the sun refusing to look at us. What a thought provoking perspective. It’s sitting in my mind, the sun turning away.

I’m greatly encouraged by your response. We’ve had enough cloudy days lately that I guess inspired the other way of considering the sun. I hope you’re really well. Thank you!
