due at the hospital by eleven

due at the hospital by eleven

well
today
a drug
a cut
some work on the heart

I guess it’s okay
except for risk
and then
I’m claustrophobic
maybe the drug will keep me
under

and relax me somehow on either
side of things

right now
I worry over the phobia
more
than the other parts of this

in a few
hours
either way the immediate things should
be done with recovery
to face
which I guess will be a big bandage
on my chest
and
wincing while I get
my freedom back

I’m drafting in the time I have
hmm
I hadn’t thought of typing after
everything

I’ll
let you know
or won’t be able to

In conversation, I prefer Christopher. My mom named me after Christopher Robin, after all. In writing, I use “C L Couch” (or, more simply, “c l couch”) because the form is genderless and also frankly easier to use. I have awful writer’s cramp. I am an educator more or less retired, more or less due to disability. At present, I live in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania (USA). My writing here I mean to be occasional and also devotional. Either or both. The banner and profile photographs are by my friend and peer Debra Danielson. More of Debbie’s work to be enjoyed is at debradanielson.org. Thanks to each of you and both and all for coming to my blog.

Thank you for such special sharing! I believe such offerings are potent. I’m writing the next day now and can tell you the operation accomplished what it was supposed to have. Despite prior readings, my vitals were especially strong yesterday. Thank you, again! I hope you are really well.

    Dear friend,

Just reading this now on the west coast, you are in hospital. Sending you huge Light and peace as you navigate this. And I so look forward to hearing more when you are home and getting your freedom back.

Thank you for the light and love. They are solid gifts. The operation is over now, and it went fine. I got new parts for my implanted device. I’m hoping you are well in where you are and what you’re at.

Thank you for the blessings! I’ve no doubt they make a difference. I’m all right after the operation. I don’t know if you receive my responses at your blog, because it says “nonce verification” or some such, when I send something. I don’t know how frustrated I should feel. I enjoyed reading about resilience, especially as it is a combination of “biology and consciousness.” Thank you, again.

Although I am not sure if I am receiving your responses, please do not feel frustrated. This is a creative way of letting me know, I do not know what “nonce verification” means but I will ask WordPress. I am glad that you are out of hospital and recovering well. Much love and blessings to you!💜

This is from WordPress “A “nonce verification failed” error typically means the comment form’s security token expired before the subscriber submitted their comment — this usually happens when someone leaves the page open for a long time before hitting submit.
The simplest fix is to ask them to refresh the page and try submitting their comment again.” Please try this if it happens again. 🙂

Thanks so much for checking on the problem or issue or whatever it is. Next time I will try the remedy offered. Thank you for your encouraging words, most of all.
