In conversation, I prefer Christopher. My mom named me after Christopher Robin, after all. In writing, I use “C L Couch” (or, more simply, “c l couch”) because the form is genderless and also frankly easier to use. I have awful writer’s cramp. I am an educator more or less retired, more or less due to disability. At present, I live in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania (USA). My writing here I mean to be occasional and also devotional. Either or both. The banner and profile photographs are by my friend and peer Debra Danielson. More of Debbie’s work to be enjoyed is at debradanielson.org. Thanks to each of you and both and all for coming to my blog.

Yes, me, too. But we keep at it, don’t we?

Yes. Like it or not we’re humans and that’s how we naturally are.

Oh My, this is perfectly beautiful–and sad, as I fail far too often.

Thank you. I fall often, too. But it’s worth the effort!

It definitely IS worth the effort–His rewards promote our further growth 🙂

Christopher,
Our desire to know Him more is definitely where our hearts should be, yet, if we do indeed claim to have known Him- the unlimited creator, in that instant we have limited Him.
Beautiful reminder!

Thank you, Dajena, for “Beautiful.” Yes, we should strive to know God in order better to respond. And make choices, overall. But we can’t go so far as to presume to have it all.
