feel better
until
the parent got it and talked with her
so she could say that sometimes

pain
simply and mainly
hurts

adult wisdom from the child
on either side of
which
we may own

the grieved or those who try to help the grieved
not
to leave alone but to find
easy ways
with actions and with
words
to bear
while the pain must have its way
